Eye Colour: Blue
Height: 5'9 1/2"
Build: Muscular

Strengths: He is very strong both physically and in the magical arts.
Weaknesses: His fear of losing his daughter.
Personality: King Ianz has a very arrogant and proud personality. He focuses all of his speeches on all of his triumphs and "forgets" to talk about all of his failures. When he finally came home from Oz and got all of his features re-established (and improved) with the help of his magicians, he neglected to inform any of his subjects on the situation.
History: When he was seven, all of the children in the village he lived in looked up to him as a leader. They always did as he asked of them to do for nothing in return. By the time he was fourteen, when he was kicked out of his house for constantly torturing his younger brothers, every one of the children offered to house him.
For seven years, he lived with his friend, Iana, who was a beautiful and talented in everything that she did. When he was sixteen, he fell in love with her. The got married a year later and bore four children when the current king of Fliaan came through looking for a suitable wife and chose her as his prey and took her and all but one of the children away to his castle.
He cared for his youngest daughter with his life for three more years before taking her to the castle to try and visit her mother. However, he was denied entrance into the castle on sight.
He went back to the city closest to the castle and found an inn for him and his daughter to stay in. There, he met a most intriguing man who, for the next six years, taught him and his daughter everything that he knew of the magic arts until, alas, he died.
Ianz returned to the castle to, again, be rejected. He sneaked around to the back of the castle with his daughter and had her turn them invisible while he used his magic to loosen all of the bricks of the gate and mixed around the dirt and turned it into very deep mud, collapsing the tower and granting them access through the back door. There they got up three flights of stairs when they were detected in the castle. They continued to move, however, with more caution.
When they made it up to the ninth story, they found the room with his wife, laying on a bed. He ran in there, delighted to see her, and kissed her feircly. However, her enthusiasm was not the same. She seemed very tired and much paler than before. He learned there that she was fatally ill because of one of the kings experiments.
At that, he ran all the way the castle and found the king, fat and proud, sitting in his throne eating a feast. Fliaan killed every one of the guards that came into his way and, thus, killed the king. When he had killed the king, he was granted the kingship for the king had no successor, having killed all of his children in his experiments.
For months he tried as hard as he could to restore his wife to full health, but, after he had a witch cast a spell on her, she died. The witch, afraid of condemnation tried to hide, but he told her not to worry, he was in much to grief to want to punish her.
From that, he has spent all of his time attempting to make Fliaan as strong as he could and protecting his daughter with his life.
